As a Registered Counselling Therapist in the Province of Nova Scotia, we are required to follow a Code of Ethics which is published by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Along with our ethical practice, therapists follow practice standards which serve to protect the public. These were developed by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association to provide direction and guidelines to enable its members, and other counsellors and psychotherapists in Canada, and counsellors/therapists-in-training, to conduct themselves in a professional manner consistent with the CCPA Code of Ethics.
