Music Therapy is a creative therapy using music and music experiences by a credentialed professional (MTA) to create a therapeutic relationship to support mental health and development. In safe and ethical practice, music therapists restore, maintain and improve the wellbeing in cognitive, communicative, physical, social, emotional, spiritual and musical domains. Music is part of all human beings connection to memories, experiences and through our inner rhythms of our own bodies. A session might include guided listening, music for relaxation, songwriting or improvisation.
